Job Title: Legal Intern
Duty Station: CAMFEBA, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Reporting Line: Legal Officer
Responsibilities
Under the supervision and monitoring of the Legal Officer, the Legal Intern is responsible for, but not limit to, the following duties and responsibilities:
Providing general administrative support to the Legal Department;
Assisting with the preparation of legal compliance papers for submission to relevant ministries;
Assisting legal officer;
Doing research on relevant law, regulations and Arbitration Council Award foranswering questions from members;
Doing legal translation from Khmer to English and vice versa;
Other assigned tasks.
Requirements
Fresh graduate or an undergraduate student in junior/senior years of Bachelor Degreeof Law, preferably specializing in Labor Law and other commercial-related laws
Some work experiences and/or strong academic background from any recognized lawschool
Some knowledge on Cambodian Labor Law
Be able to communicate in Khmer and English both in writing and speaking
Good legal research skills
Be a fast learner and willing to learn new things
Good with MS Offices, Ms. Outlook, and Khmer typing skill
Be a proactive, creative and good team player
Strong commitment and willing to work in challenging environment
