Mr. Lay Chhun is an HR Manager of iDE in Cambodia since 2013. iDE is a global effort that spans offices in 14 countries, encompassing 4 social enterprises, employing over 1,000 people directly, and indirectly enabling many more through the market-based approaches in agriculture; water, sanitation, and hygiene; and finance. Mr. Chhun is a Senior Human Development Trainer and Board Member of HEDC International, has been working in the field of capacity building for the educational sector, private sector, government, local and international NGOs from the bottom to the high level of the society for over 10 years. He is the Founder and President of Humanity Organization for Development (HOD), a local NGO dedicated to developing the rural communities and He also has an extensive experience in leading people and possesses a high degree of social, emotional and ecological competency.

Seasoned professional from Canada, trilingual (English, French, Khmer), holds two bachelor's degrees in computer science and economics (from French universities) and also holds an MBA degree (from Canadian university), he has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in various senior positions in several Canadian world‐class companies. In Cambodia, he has been acting occasionally as an internal auditor for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, Distribution and agri‐business at Phnom‐Penh since 1996 and couple years later he was promoted to the General Manager, CFO and advisers on a contractual basis between 2004 to 2008. Indeed, he has a broader knowledge of Cambodia’s environment especially social‐economic, human resource, recruitment and capacity building.

His professional career brought him to work in a variety of business sectors including pulp and paper manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceutical, distribution of beverages, food and agricultural products, public administration, international development consultancy whether in Canada, United States, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and last but not the least in Cambodia.

Pong Della is a Professional HR practitioner and offers human resources consultation services to clients in Business Process Outsourcing, Banking and MFI, and Construction and Service. He experiences in offering HR development, social mission program and labor law service to serve more than 2000 staff across Cambodia and Lao PDR. His great achievements were: successfully roll out the 6-month development program to young talents across nationwide for technical and leadership skill. The certified trainer to offer the internal training courses to management and non-management level over 57 branches across nation. Successors Assessor in talent celebration day to select the successors for whole company. While he is responsible for business strategic partnering, headcount planning, staff engagement, remuneration, succession planning, leadership and talent development, budgeting, performance management and human resources information system. He has the great accomplishment in serving many roles as: Manager, Training and Organizational Development, Cambodian Cluster (Cambodia, Vietnam, Lao PDR and Myanmar) for a leading commercial bank in the SEA region, Head of Human Resources at leading top 5 MFIs, Regional Director, Human Resources and Social Mission, Cambodia and Lao PDR for BPO, HRM-IR Lecturer to a leading University in Cambodia. Pong Della expertizes in talent development, performance management, remuneration, recruitment and selection and policy development.

She has graduated in 1984 in Master Degree holder for Applied Chemistry. Regarding her previous experience, she worked as a Demonstrator at University, then a Presenter and Announcer in Myanmar Radio & Television Department. She started Hospitality Industry in 1997; first position as Human Resources Manager at Ramada International Airport Hotel Yangon under J.W Marriott. Then she became a Senior Training Manager (Leader of Service Champion) at Traders Hotel Yangon, managed by Shangri-La Hotels Group in 2002. Four year later, in 2006, she moved to Sofitel Phokeethra Angkor Golf and SPA Resort, Siem Reap as Director of Human Resources and Training. At end of 2009, career destination changed to United Arab Emirates, she worked for Al Hamra Hotels Group, Ras Al Khaimah as Cluster Director of Human Resources and Training for 6 hotels. Since then, she handling corporate and regional role in Human Resources, people development and organizational development for company. In end of 2011, Belmond Hotels Group (previous known as Orient-Express) offered her as Area Director of Human Resources and Learning and Development for all Myanmar business units (Hotel, Cruises and DMC). Late 2016 in Nov, Belmond assigned her to taking in-charge as Cluster Role for two hotels - Siem Reap and Luang Prabaung.
