The Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA), the organization of employers in Cambodia recognized nationally and internationally, has the pride to announce her Executive Committee members for the new mandate (2010-2012) elected during the Annual General Meeting on April 08th, 2010 at Cambodiana Hotel, Phnom Penh as in the following:

Mr. Van Sou Ieng, President of Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Association (CAMFEBA). He helps with various sectors including garment, shoes, hotel, construction, property developers, other business associations and companies. He is Chairman of the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC) since it inception in 1995. Mr. Van has been also active in the National Training Board (NTB) he is Vice Chairman. NTB is the body who makes policy on skills and training needs of the private businesses in Cambodia. He is Board of Health Insurance Program (HIP), the worker’s health insurance, and Honorary President of the Cambodia Business Coalition on AIDS (CBCA) the employers’ coalition that protects employees from HIV/AIDS. He is Vice Chairman of Asia Insurance, Chairman of PPS garment, President of the Cambodian Country Club (CCC), President of Golden Sorya Mall with 180 shops. Last but not least, he is also the owner of Van’s restaurant, a renowned French restaurant in Phnom Penh.
Ms. Sandra DÁMICO, Vice President of The Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Association (CAMFEBA).Cambodia’s Employers Association recognised by the Royal Government of Cambodia and by International Bodies such as the International Employers Organisation. In 2005 Sandra was elected as Secretary General, the first women to be elected onto the board. She represents Cambodian Employers at international events (including the International Labor Conference in Geneva and ASEAN meetings) and works closely with the ILO, Royal Government of Cambodia and leading advisory bodies for employers. Sandra is a founder and Managing Director of HRINC (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and began her career in the garment industry in both design and production after completing her studies in Clothing Production and Design in South Africa, top of her class. In the Garment Industry Sandra worked in design and purchasing and later in production where she managed one of South Africa’s leading niche garment factories running over 10 production lines with over 30 employees in each.

Mr. Teh Sing, Secretary General of CAMFEBA. He is also the President of the Malaysian Business Council of Cambodia. He came to Cambodia in 1992 and was working with Cambrew Limited (Manufacturer and Distributor of Angkor Beer and Pepsi products) until his retirement in June 2006. He was then the Chief Operating Officer of Cambrew Limited. He then started his own advertising company in July 2006 – Gangga Privated Limited.
One of the Founding members of Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Association. His main focus in CAMFEBA are HIV/AIDS and Migrant workers. He initiated the formation of Association of Cambodian Recruiting Agencies.
Ms. Riviera Ho-Rathore, CAMFEBA’s Deputy Secretary General and also HR&OD Director of Sotelco Ltd., Cambodia’s fastest-growing mobile telecommunications operator that is widely known under the Beeline brand. River has been in Cambodia for over 6 years and sits as a member of the Tripartite Consultative Group (TCG) for Social Protection and Employment Increase Project and also participates in ASEAN/ILO Child Labor and Industrial Relations consultative meetings. She studied her Master’s degree in Industrial Relations, focusing on Labor-Management Relations, at the University of the Philippines’ School of Labor and Industrial Relations (SOLAIR).
Ms. Sou Moniveark, one of our Board Member, is currently the Head of Retail Operations at ANZ Royal. In the last 3 months prior to her making decision to move into business role to diversify her skill, she was the Head of HR for ANZ Royal for more than 4 years. She led human resources at ANZ Royal covering recruitment, training, remuneration, labour law governance, organizational design and development, rewards and recognition, performance management, payroll and staff engagement survey. Before joining ANZ Royal, Moniveark was the Training and Development Manager at British American Tobacco (Cambodia) and she had been working there for almost 5 years in Human Resources function.
