Effective HR leadership goes beyond managing all the tasks and responsibilities carried out by the HR function. It also requires the critical soft skills needed from any leader courage, judgment, influence, political agility, effective communication all of these applied to the unique position that HR occupies in an organization.

CAMFEBA is pleased to invite the HR head, HR professional, business owner, and department head of the company to join our 6th Inspired Corner and explore the key knowledge sharing from our senior speakers who have experience in dealing with employee by using difference HR approaches in their professional career.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Mr. Eung Chantra has more than 16 years’ experience in the Hospitality industry and 5 years in teaching and training.

He is currently holding the position of Director of Talent and Culture (HR) at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor managed by the AccorHotels. Before holding his recent position, he used to be the Training Manager and University Lecturer.

Mr. Eung Chantra holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Education from Build Bright University. He also obtains a few certificates from Cornell University (Managing People Effectively, Leading People to Higher Performance, Communication, Coaching and Counseling for Improved Performance, and the Selection Process). He was one of the selected candidates to join the scholarship program “The Role of Executives for Better Industrial Relations in the Global Era [ERGE] in 2017, Japan. In addition, he attends various professional training courses and conferences locally and internally.

With years of experience in HR field, Sun Samoeun (Mr) has core knowledge and practice of Human Resource Management, Training, Leadership, Management and Communication Skills. He is currently a Senior HR Manager of Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. Prior to this position, he worked as the Head of HR at DFI Lucky, Head of HR Division at First Group (Holdings), HR Manager at Nautisco Seafood Manufacturing Ltd., and Training Coordinator/Master Trainer at Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA). With high distinction, Samoeun graduated with a Master of Education from Concordia University, Nebraska, USA. He also obtained a dual Bachelor Degree in TEFL and English for Communication from Norton University, Cambodia.
