The Cambodia HR Conference is the regular meeting of the club, putting together the HR professionals to enhance the knowledge and know-how of the Cambodian HR leaders and practitioners in responding to their challenges and to coordinate networking and open an opportunity for interaction among participants.

I am the founding member of Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA). Have been with CAMFEBA Executive Board since 2000 until now. Help started with only 1 staff to the current 22 staff. My current position is Vice President of CAMFEBA.

I am also the founding member of Malaysian Business Council of Cambodia since 1993 and is re elected the President again for 2016.

Was head hunted to come to Cambodia in November 1992 to join Cambrew Limited (Manufacturer and Distributor of Angkor Beer and Pepsi products) as Sales Director. In 1997 was promoted to Chief Operating Officer until my retirement in June 2006.

After my retirement I started my own company, Gangga Private Limited in July 2006. Main businesses are advertising, promotion and consultancy.

In November 2010 was persuaded to join Phnom Penh Beer Co., Limited (Manufacturer and Distributor of Phnom Penh Beer and Special Beer) as General Manager until now. At the same time I am allowed to run my own company.

Graduated from the Malaysian Institute of Malaysia with Diploma in Management.

Dr. Mohammad Aizat Jamaludin has been appointed as Training Adviser and Consultant at IPB Halal Academy since 2014. He is also a lecturer and Head of International of Halal Audit and Certification for International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He graduated first and second degree from University Malaya, Malaysia in Fiqh and Jurisprudence and completed his PhD from Halal Products Research Institute (HPRI), University Putra Malaysia in Shariah and Halal Laws. He was appointed as Trainer and Shariah Auditor at Halal Industry Development Corporation (HDC) from 2009 until 2011. He has various halal industries experience focuses to Shariah issues in Halal Industry, Malaysia Halal certification requirements, Internal Halal Audit and halal consultant. Dr. Mohammad Aizat was specializing to Fundamental and Determination of Halal Haram Products, Integration Fiqh and Science, Islamic and Halal Cleansing (sertu), Fiqh Consumerism, Fiqh al-Istihalah, Al-Jallalah, Al-Istitobah, Al-‘Uruf, Halal Food Culture, Halal Training and Halal Module Development. Kevin has worked in SE Asia since 1989 in the commercial and public sectors and he has in-depth knowledge and experience of the human resources issues faced by employers in rapidly expanding economies

In 2017 Kevin founded KTP Services in Myanmar – an HR consultancy. He has consulted on human resources capacity development for the infrastructure sector and as a business owner he focusses on effective commercial solutions for a wide range of clients.

In 2006 he founded Top Recruitment Cambodia, the country’s leading recruitment agency, to provide international standard executive search and selection services.

The company specialises in managerial, professional, technical and administrative staffing and works in a range of sectors, mainly with foreign-owned/foreign managed companies. Top Recruitment also offers staff outsourcing for clients’ manpower needs. As MD of the company since 2006 Kevin has been actively involved in all aspects of human resources in Cambodia.

From 2011 to 2013 Kevin was the International HR consultant on an ADB Capacity Building Project supporting of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. The project supported the Ministry in the process of turning Royal Railways Cambodge (previously a railway operator) into the Railway Department which is tasked with managing the railway operator’s concession.

From 2005 to 2007 Kevin worked as the Health, Safety and Training Manager for a Brunei-based engineering company.

Before that he worked for 16 years in the Government of Brunei as an Education Officer. In this job he was variously an English language teacher and the Head of the English Department in a government college. He also worked on curriculum development, learning materials, bi-lingual education policy and strategy implementation in the Ministry of Education of the Brunei Government.

In his twenties he was an English teacher and worked in Spain, England, Cyprus and Sudan.

Kevin is British, he graduated in English Language and Literature and has postgraduate qualifications in Education and Occupational Health and Safety.

As a Membership Services Dept Manager of Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations - CAMFEBA, he is the head of Membership Services Department who manages and controls the general membership services including internal and external relationship, membership services, events, facilitation, business communication and development. He has the main roles and responsibilities for leading the membership services team responsible for bringing together our members to strengthen the employers’ voice to achieve ‘Successful Business, Prosperous Cambodia’. His team is involved in public awareness activities, membership events and external relations for the association. He has also been involving in developing many of the publications of CAMFEBA, making available to their members to help business development in Cambodia. His business market knowledge helps bring together practical concepts with marketable ideas. His significant networks within both in Cambodia and internationally, help strengthen knowledge for both existing and new members. His ability to professionally communicate with all levels of business, government and international organizations makes him a key asset to business development for CAMFEBA.

Prior to joining CAMFEBA many years, he has lot of practical experiences in internal and external relationship, membership services, events, facilitation, business communication and development. He shared seven years’ experience in external relations working with companies and organizations within the public and private sector. His vast experience in sales and marketing management provides him a strong platform in customer service and communications.

Mr. Sophoan graduated his BA in Economics and he is currently studying for his MBA at Norton University. He speaks Khmer and English very well.
