An employment contract is a kind of contract used under the labour law to attribute rights and responsibilities between parties to a bargain. It is generally aware a contract is between employee and employer.

HR professional, as one of the key roles, shall need to ensure that the employment contract which usually use to tire-up the roles and responsibilities between their company and the employee shall fully comply with the provision of the labour law and provide justice and fairness for both parties.

He is an Attorney-at-Law duly registered with the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He is also the Advisor to the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, where he provides legal and technical support to the General Department of Labor.

Prior to this, he was the Manager of the Labor Practice Group of Bun and Associates Law Firm, the Legal and Labor Manager of the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC), the Executive Director of the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA), and the Legal Officer of the Arbitration Council Foundation. He has very extensive and hands-on practical knowledge and experiences in the area of Labor Law and Industrial Relations as he has been practicing this law for over a decade through advising, providing training and participating in the development of many labor-related laws and regulations, including the amendment of the Labor Law on night shift wages and drafting of the Trade Union Law. During his tenure at CAMFEBA, he also involved with the development of law and regulations on commercial arbitration.

Under the Australian Leadership Award, he pursued his study at the University of Melbourne, Australia, where he obtained the Master of Commercial Law. He also graduated in Law from the Royal University of Law and Economic Sciences and Philosophy from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Besides, he has attended many international training/internship programmes in many countries.
