Workshop
The dissemination of the Workplace-Based Learning (WBL)
Schemes Implementations in Cambodia
21st February 2018 | Sunway Hotel
DETAIL |
Light manufacturing and food processing are two of the identified sectors under current national strategies that have great potential to contribute to Cambodia’s economic development. To support the development of these sectors, skills requirements is needed to enhance the productivities in these sectors. When training institutions do not meet the skills demand of enterprises, in terms of numbers and/or quality of graduates, companies tend to opt for various forms of workplace-based learning, including on-the-job training. CAMFEBA has recently conducted the small study by analyzing existing practices on WBL among its members and identify good models that can be replicated then help improve the competitiveness of firms and contribute to the economic diversification. |
